Hi there! I’m Felica, the heart and hands behind Janey’s Candle Co. I’m just a small-town girl from Ohio who loves country living, crafting, and making memories with my three wild little ones and my wonderful husband. I’ve always been the silly, loud, slightly weird girl who finds joy in laughter and creating—whether I’m cooking in the kitchen, digging in the garden, or dreaming up my next DIY project.

I married the love of my life in 2017, and together we’ve built a life that feels like a dream come true. We have two rowdy little boys and one sweet baby girl who keep us on our toes and fill our days with love and laughter. Fun fact: I’ve loved my husband since kindergarten! He’s truly my best friend and my biggest cheerleader—he’s supported me through every twist and turn of this small business journey, and I’m so grateful for him.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of having a little country shop filled with handmade treasures—from upcycled furniture to cozy home décor and everything in between. That dream began when I was a little girl, tagging along with my grandma to craft shows. I’d sit by her side, watching her sell her handmade creations, always smiling and cracking jokes. She taught me the joy of creating with heart and purpose. Her name was Sara Jane, but everyone called her Janey—and that’s who this business is named after.

Over the years, I’ve dabbled in everything from sewing and painting to photography, but in 2014, I found candle making—and it lit a spark in me I didn’t know I had. What started as a fun hobby quickly grew into a passion, and in 2020, Janey’s Candle Co. was officially born. Now I get to share my love for handcrafted candles with others, creating pieces that bring warmth, comfort, and a little extra joy into people’s homes.

We use 100% all-natural soy wax, eco-friendly wicks, and rich, lasting scents that make your space feel like home.
